Sophie (Age 10) - ★★★★★

"After reading the book I was really excited to watch the film and I was not disappointed. The film was very true to the book and Jennifer Lawrence plays an amazing Katnis Everdeen. Full of action be drama, I was kept on the edge of my seat as the story unfolded and I can’t wait to read and watch the next films. "

There's plenty of sci-fi action in the Avengers movies with a strong female role for Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow. Strong female characters fighting totalitarianism in sci-fi also turn up in Star Wars and Avatar. Inception meanwhile has a dangerous battle in complex lands - the mind! And of course you can finish off the series catching the sequels.
