It received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the acting, action sequences, musical score, and visual effects but criticized the story, pacing and perceived departures from the plot and themes of The Last Jedi.

"Star wars the rise of skywalker was terrible.
The film was so bad that a lot of people have said that it ruined star wars for them as it killed off many original characters and brought back characters that were supposed to just stay dead. I also thought the acting was pretty bad and comedy if you can call it that was outright unfunny. The movie barely made sense and was not enjoyable when it did. It made you leaving the cinema with more questions than answers. The only thing this movie has going for it is the fact that the CGI was incredible and great to look at.
Over I would not recommend watching this film."

The best scenes in this movie were; Kylo ren first meeting Emperor Palpatine, Rey's training, Chewbacca getting captured, C3-PO's memory restart, General Hux turning out to be the spy, General Hux's death, Kylo Ren vs Rey, Princess Leia's death ,Rey flying to Emperor Palpatine, Kylo Ren vs Kylo Ren's knights, the war, Kylo Ren's death to save Rey, and the victory of the war. 'My Favourite character top 3 of this movie' is;
1. Kylo Ren
2. Rey
3. Emperor Palpatine
Overall a brilliant end to the star wars saga! I can't wait to see 'Rogue One' and other star wars films"
