‘Peter and the Wolf on Tour’ is an action-packed, interactive concert with some of the best and silliest(!) musicians in Scotland.
We're delighted to welcome Children's Classic Concerts back to the Festival after two years of sell-out shows in 2023 and 2024.
This unique theatrical concert presentation of the much-loved music 'Peter and the Wolf' by Prokofiev has been arranged for wind quintet, representing Peter and his four brave animal friends as they battle the sly wolf.
Children's Classic Concerts' team of musical animals, led by Owen Gunnell, will move effortlessly from madcap mayhem to virtuosic performances – with plenty of audience participation along the way.
Perfect for 4-12 year olds and their families.

"We went to see Peter & the Wolf, it was a classical music musical. The costumes were fun, just simple but they worked really well. I enjoyed the dramatic music, and the narrator told the story really well. We got to meet the band afterwards and play the xylophone and try the wolf's mask on. I would definitely like to see more of their concerts."
