Theatre REVIEW: Children's Classic Concerts: Wonderland - ★★★★

Follow Alice down the rabbit hole and discover the magical world of the orchestra...

Let Children's Classic Concerts' host and Master of Percussion, Owen (aka The Mad Hatter), welcome you to a musical party that’ll make you think all your unbirthdays have come at once. Join Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee for a topsy turvy tea party and discover the fantastical beast that is The Jabberwocky in a new commission for narrator and orchestra written especially for this concert.

Featuring everyone’s best loved characters, orchestral favourites and CCC’s Essential Orchestra on top form, you won’t want to miss this wonderfully wacky concert! Let’s just hope the Queen of Hearts isn’t a party pooper and the White Rabbit sets his alarm clock for this very important date! It’s all slightly bonkers, but as Alice said to the Mad Hatter: “You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”

Usher Hall, Edinburgh - 5th March

Oliver (Age 11) - ★★★★

"I thought it was really good, I've never seen an orchestra before. The characters were funny especially the Queen of Hearts"
