Bilbo and company are forced to engage in a war against an array of combatants and keep the Lonely Mountain from falling into the hands of a rising darkness.

The sequel to 2013's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, it is the final instalment in The Hobbit trilogy, acting as a prequel to Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The film received mixed reviews from critics.

Some of the stars of the movie appear in the Marvel movies, including Benedict Cumberbatch in Spider-Man: No Way Home all of whom appear in Avengers: Endgame. For more J.R.R.
