Inspector Morse: House of Ghosts marks the first-ever stage adaptation of the iconic detective.
A chilling mystery unfolds
When a young actress suddenly dies on stage in front of a full-house, Detective Chief Inspector Morse must piece together the clues to find the culprit.
What begins as a suspicious death inquiry takes a darker turn when the legendary inspector, together with DS Lewis, uncovers a connection to sinister events in his own past, twenty-five years earlier.
Starring Tom Chambers (Father Brown, Strictly Come Dancing) as Inspector Morse, this original story written for the stage is a must-see for fans of compelling detective stories and thrilling mysteries.

"Inspector Morse: House of Ghosts is a gripping mystery, following the titular Morse as he investigates the death of a girl that occurred onstage in a play run by one of his old university mates. Morse must grapple with the mystery in front of him, while struggling with the lingering resentments and feelings from his time in Oxford. The play is a well-written work, with creative usage of the playhouse setting creating an immersive atmosphere, the actors effectively portraying the deep emotion and raw conflicts between characters in a very genuine way that draws the audience in and the fascinating multi faceted mystery keeping them deeply immersed in the tale. The time period the story is set in, 1987, is a key element in several aspects of the mystery, often limiting Morse’s options due to insufficient ability of the technology or providing unique clues, as well as serving as a source of occasional humour to alleviate the dark tone. Overall, House of Ghosts is a brilliant story that draws the audience into the mystery and conflicts of the story. Highly recommended!"
