The people that appear in a story are called characters. Most stories follow a main character or hero. Heroes don't have to be perfect, but there is usually something good about them.

Sometimes characters can surprise you - a hero might do something bad, or a villain might do something good. Choose one of the characters above. Plan them in more detail. What are they like? What could they do to surprise you?



Write a short paragraph to introduce your character.



Characters can be any age and from anywhere. They don't even have to be human!
