We're celebrating Pride this month!

We're encouraging all our students to wear bright and colourful rainbow colours throughout the month to support the LGBTQ+ community.

We'll be highlighting the work of Key Inspirational LGBTQ+ People as well.

There's still much to do, but things are moving in the right direction. You are not alone, and you should always be proud of who you are.

Pride Month in the UK is typically celebrated in June, just like in many other countries around the world. It commemorates the Stonewall riots that occurred in June 1969 in New York City, which are considered a pivotal moment in the LGBTQ+ rights movement. Pride events in the UK, including parades, festivals, and other activities, serve as a celebration of LGBTQ+ identity, history, and culture, as well as a reminder of the ongoing struggle for equality and acceptance.
