Tsuneo is a university student and Josee is a young girl who has rarely gone out of the house by herself due to her being unable to walk. The two meet when Tsuneo finds Josee's grandmother taking her out for a evening walk.

"Excellent animation style in this anime and a sweet and unusual tale. I did find the main character a little unlikeable but I'm not sure if that was supposed to be the point? As her character changes as the film goes on. Great to see another animated movie that is highlighting disability and creating fully rounded characters and storylines. The animation in the fantasy sequences is lovely."
