Step inside the world’s smallest cinema and experience the magic of animation like never before!

Returning to Manipulate Festival for the third year running, One Bum Cinema Club invites you to enjoy a brand new selection of short, family-friendly animated films, all from the comfort of your own personal cinema seat.

Curated as part of Manipulate Festival, this playful installation showcases a diverse programme of Scottish and international shorts. From heartwarming tales to imaginative adventures, each film offers a window into the creativity and craft of leading artists from Scotland and around the world.

Perfect for audiences of all ages, One Bum Cinema Club is a joyful, intimate experience that celebrates the wonder of animation, one viewer, one seat, and one unforgettable moment at a time.

The One Bum Cinema will be touring libraries across the City of Edinburgh between January and March, with family stop motion animation workshops in each location, and will be situated in Filmhouse on Lothian Road throughout the festival dates.

"The One Bum Cinema Club is brilliant! I wish I can stay in it longer! But there was other people wanting in to see the films ha.

I managed to catch First Flight, which was a wonderfully colourful and wacky story of little animals taking their first flight. Superb fun and a great addition to the programme of shorts for the One Bum Cinema Club.
