Following two phenomenal years in London’s West End and a sensational first UK and Ireland tour, the “indisputably terrific” (The Times) Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical – Sunny Afternoon – is back!
Sunny Afternoon is a story of friendship, fame and rock history, set to a soundtrack of era-defining songs that brings the sound of the 60s roaring back to life. Experience the electrifying true story behind The Kinks, the band that changed rock music forever, with a back catalogue of unforgettable hits including “You Really Got Me,” “Lola,” and “All Day and All of the Night.”
Stepping into the band's legendary shoes are Danny Horn (Ray Davies), Oliver Hoare (Dave Davies), Harry Curley (Peter Quaife), and Zakarie Stokes (Mick Avory) — capturing the spirit, sound, and swagger of one of the most influential bands of the British Invasion.
With music and lyrics by the legendary Ray Davies, a book by Joe Penhall, original story by Ray Davies and direction by Edward Hall, Sunny Afternoon is a thrilling celebration of rock ‘n’ roll, rebellion, and the anthems that still move us today.

"Sunny Afternoon The Kinks was an amazing show! I honestly don't know what I was expecting from it but it was outstanding.
They played my favorite song first! (You really got me) and it sounded amazing, it was like you were at a concert.
I really liked when Dave was swinging from the chandelier while singing and the fight.
I thought it was an amazing show and I definitely went home and added The Kinks to my playlist!
Some of the actors played multiple characters but you couldn't tell because they played each one so differently and amazingly.
And I thought it was so cool that they had a part in the end where people could stand up and sing, dance along it was just such a nice experience for everyone to sing, dance and clap along with them!"
