Be there to see the Clown and the Wolfman ride again! Bored of their lives in Edinburgh, intrepid underdogs Ronnie and Will become Highland Highwaymen, holding up tourist coaches and winning international renown as they fleece their victims with charm and panache.
Led by a holidaying CIA agent and a Scottish detective with conflicted loyalties, the police are closing in. Time is running out and the scene is set for a desperate showdown. Will this be the end of the story - or the beginning of a legend?
40 years on from the film's initial release, this classic Scottish movie starts a new adventure as a stage musical.

"Absolutely pure dead brilliant! This is the Scottish feel good comedy musical of the summer! Admittedly I was not familiar with the cult '80s Scottish movie that the musical is based on but you really don't need to be.
This cheeky musical is full of laughs, a loveable gallery of quirky characters and performed with absolute gusto by a fabulous cast. Songs are all crackers - including a few Big Country bangers that people may very well likely recognise.
The story follows a couple of down on their luck young men who decide to hold up the local tourist buses using their masks from the joke shop they work in. They soon become national heroes. The synopsis itself gets a giggle and so the show itself plays into the goofiness to perfect effect and there's some stand out moments including a Country Western American Sheriff dance off against a Scottish Dancing champion and then the cartoon style gangster bar in the second half nearly steals the show.
The show gets the right balance between silliness, tongue-in-cheek and heartfulness. Get an Irn-Bru or a pint of Tennents with a Tunnocks teacake and catch this wee belter now!"
