They call it ‘the incident’ now. What happened when they first met. He always said it was part of his ‘romantic plan’, but they both know that’s rubbish.
Connected by the voice of Frank Sinatra, this intimate, humorous and deeply moving love story explores the effects of Alzheimer’s disease and the transformative power of music to help us remember the past, connect with the present and hope for the future.
Matthew Seager’s five star, 4X Molière Award winning play has now been seen by over 300,000 people in multiple languages across the globe.

"A delicate, sensitively handled two hander which follows a couple dealing with the effect of Alzheimer disease. It will resonate for many.
Perhaps not the easiest of theatre viewing, despite (or due to) Matthe Seager's intimate delve into the subject matter with his fine script. The two actors (including Seager himself) gave good performances but at times it did feel more like an acting exercise than a true relationship being presented on stage. Perhaps the casting was too young to truly feel the depth of such a heart wrenching disease which eats its way into many lives.
Still the final moments really hit home and there wasn't a dry eye in the theatre."
