Theatre REVIEW: Christmas Carol Goes Wrong - ★★★★★

Don’t miss this guaranteed comedy catastrophe from Mischief, the multi award-winning company behind 'The Play That Goes Wrong'.

GOD BLESS HELP US, EVERYONE!

The Cornley Amateur Drama Society are back with tidings of chaos and joy, ready to tackle the Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol. A new production of Christmas Carol Goes Wrong smashes into the Festival Theatre direct from a strictly limited West End run.

As the Cornley crew hilariously battle miscommunication, delays to their set, actors missing in action and a growing feud over who will play the lead, it’s sure to be a disastrous take on the much-loved classic Christmas story of Ebenezer Scrooge. Will the drama society finally change their ways, or will their misfortunes wreak havoc with hysterical consequences?

Enjoy a slice of pure escapism at the worst production in Christmas past, present and yet to come!

"I thought that the show was great, very funny! The cast was incredible and they all bounced off of each other extremely well. You never knew when a joke was going to come back around from earlier in a satisfying and complete way. I loved this show and so did my dad: he couldn’t stop laughing the whole way! It was definitely my type of comedy. I loved how they used A Christmas Carol as a base idea but expanded upon it. There was only one joke that was overused."
