Ben (Age 7) - ★★★★★

"My favourite character is the pigeon. The show was really funny and I liked the trapdoors on the stage to make the witch come up and down. That was cool!

I liked it when they invited people on stage, I wish I was there! The songs were good. I'm glad I got to watch this show!"

Houston (Age 7) - ★★★★★

"This was magical!"

Georgie (Age 10) - ★★★

"It took me a while to get into it, it was very different being at home watching the show online. I would rather have been there in the theatre to see it and to be pooed on by the pigeon. Some of it was funny but I'd say more of the jokes were for teenagers and adults. The music was really good, the stage and dresses. I like when the dads got up on stage and the pigeon getting up to no good. It was a good show. At the interval the people at home got a little game to play that was good, we had to find the pigeon. but I'd say the show was more for the older kids. I thought one of the adults was a bit inappropriate with some bits, but it wasn't bad it was good."

Archie (Age 13) - ★★★★

"This was a modern pantomime version of the classic fairy tale. I liked it. There was popular music and modern references. In this version Belle has a best friend who is a pigeon and her mum owns a bar. She dreams of making a podcast, so for content she goes to an ancient door in the village. I thought this was a very humorous pantomime. I was laughing all the way through it. When some of the actors were not needed on stage for musical scenes, they would be at the sidelines playing instruments.

All the actors gave good performances. The show also had impressive costumes. The set was very clever. It was a series of archways with lights around them, and the lights were able to reflect what was happening on stage."
