Award-winning A Giant on the Bridge reveals the heartbeat within stories of prison-homecoming.
A powerful fusion of songwriting, Scottish hip-hop and immersive storytelling.
“Do you think cos I’ve been in the jail all I know is how to hurt people?”
Every year in Scotland thousands of people return home from prison to an uncertain future. A Giant on the Bridge reveals the intimate human experiences within this prison-homecoming journey, in a compelling narrative-gig which fuses acoustic songwriting, Scottish hip hop & original storytelling.
Five of Scotland’s leading contemporary musicians explore identity, family, community, systems, restoration, injustice – and the pulsing heartbeat within these hidden stories. Unflinching, spellbinding gig-theatre featuring Louis Abbott (Admiral Fallow), Kim Grant (Raveloe), Dave Hook (Solareye, Stanley Odd), Jo Mango and Jill O’Sullivan.
Presented by KT Producing an independent production company based in Scotland that supports the creation of new, music-led theatre projects.

"I loved the show so so much, the way they told the story's through song and acting was amazing, the perfect mix of theatre and concert!
I laughed and cried, it was amazingly heartbreaking at points but still so enjoyable.
Their musical talents are outstanding, I was so impressed with everyone.
The songs were so catchy and I'd definitely listen again, please go see if you have the chance!"
