A curious boy is building sandcastles on the shores of the Issyk-kul Lake. It becomes a parable on the tensions between an artist and society.
MIX UP REVIEWS:
Stewart - ★★★★
"A little boy attempts to build some pretty impressive sand castles but is continuously disturbed by the rest of the inhabitants on the beach and the incoming tide.
It's a fun little piece which is a bit of allegory about creating art in society, the little kid is a likeable little character (see the opening shots!) and there's some fun imagery - including a jazz band playing on some driftwood.
Nice little find this one - thanks to Samizdat festival for highlighting it!"
