The 1994 feature film, The Shawshank Redemption, starred Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman and was nominated for seven Academy Awards.

"This show was amazing.
All of the acting was perfect and the story was fantastic and well adapted to the stage.
My favourite character was Brookes and Kenneth Jay's performance as the character was outstanding. My favourite scene was the final scene because it was a perfect way to end of such a great show. This is definitely my favourite thing I've seen on stage and it's based on my favourite movie of all time.
I can recommend this to anyone even if they don't normally enjoy the theatre.
