It is the sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and the ninth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The film received critical acclaim, with praise for the performances, direction, action sequences, visual effects, story, stunts, tone, and themes. It was considered by many to be the best film of the MCU franchise, with several critics even considering it to be one of the greatest superhero films ever made. A sequel titled Captain America: Civil War, also directed by the Russos, was released in 2016.

"Perfect movie for me!!!!!! Steve Rogers is one of the best characters to come out of MCU. He's paired up with Natasha 'Black Widow' in this story, he also meets Sam 'Falcon'. The action in this movie is great; the elevator fight is amazing and the last fight between captain america and the winter soldier is stunning!! Nick Fury's "death" was also pretty cool. The explosions and gunfire were really realistic as well. My favourite characters were:

1. Falcon

2. Captain America

3. Nick Fury

Overall, this was a great film which I will probably watch multiple times... Soon I will be watching 'Gaurdians of the Galaxy', hopefully it's just as good as this film."
